Does Laser / IPL offer a permanent solution and how does it work?

IPL hair reduction is a very effective treatment for the long-term or permanent reduction of unwanted hair on the face and body.

The aim of the treatment is to destroy the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding tissue and this is done by delivering highly controlled flashes of light which are selectively absorbed by hair-filled follicles lying deep below the surface of the skin. The unique technology of our equipment enables the targeted light to heat the follicle to a destructive temperature, thus disabling the regrowth potential of the follicle. As there are different cycles of hair growth it is important that the follicle is destroyed at the correct stage, which is why a course of treatments is needed.
